Welcome to Jonestown IV

I have a new poster out for the annual Welcome to Jonestown 2 night event. This is the 4th year in a row that I have done this gig and I think this image might be my favorite. I have always loved Jack Kirby’s drawings of space so I wanted to emulate some of that look for this with the background. I also really enjoyed doing a lot of the lettering on this one. I’m a sucker for the typefaces that were used a lot on the covers of sci-fi books of the 1970s.

As usual, the event is spread out over 2 consecutive nights at 2 different venues and the proceeds will benefit humanitarian aid in Palestine and Ukraine.
