Welcome to Jonestown V

New poster I just wrapped up for WELCOME TO JONESTOWN V. This is the 5th year in a row I have done this project and I think this one is my best, and favorite, of the group. I’m still trying to incorporate colored pencils into my client work and I feel like I want to push this even more, almost to the point where the colored pencils are sharing the workload with the materials I usually use like pen & ink and fluid acrylics. But, even if I didn’t get the colored pencils in there more I really enjoyed channeling a early WWF and Masters of the Universe look into the poster.

I had to stop and restart this one and as much work as that was, it did allow me to correct some problems I noticed in the first version. But, I’m glad this doesn’t happen often. For time and my hand’s sake.
